Just 16 Days Left to Make a Difference

As another year comes to an end, let us remember Team Parkinson’s threefold mission…to raise Parkinson’s disease awareness, to raise money for research for a cure, and to empower people with PD to take charge of their lives through exercise!

In 2011 we raised our visibility and PD awareness at the Los Angeles Marathon, the San Francisco Marathon and at our ‘Knock Out Parkinson’s Disease’ Comedy Show. We raised over $235,000 for research and we encouraged hundreds of people living with Parkinson’s to participate in various races. It is incredibly gratifying to know that your dedicated support has helped us stay true to our mission so successfully.

Because of your generosity we were able to fund promising research studies at both UCLA and USC. Your dollars are also funding The Parkinson’s Institute to work on a project where a simple EKG might become a screening tool to identify pre-motor Parkinson’s disease symptoms. But the funding for research must continue, as the science continues to outpace the dollars.

So, before this year ends, we would like to thank you again and also ask for your continued support.

DONATE NOW!  Give before December 31st to meet the 2011 tax deadline.  Your gifts to Team Parkinson are tax deductible to the extent that the law allows.

Remember that we guarantee that 100% of net proceeds go to research toward a cure and a better quality of life for those living with Parkinson’s disease. Please take this opportunity to dig deep once more in 2011 to bolster our research dollars to fight this debilitating and progressive neurological disease.

Thank you!

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year,

John & Edna Ball

P.S. Mark your calendars for the 2012 Los Angeles Marathon events on March 17 and 18, dedicated in loving memory of Aaron Moretzsky.
