"Laughing the Night Away" A Comedy Show and Live Auction

Team Parkinson's “Laughing the Night Away” comedy benefit and auction Sunday, November 10, 2002, was a smashing success. The evening was hosted by May May Ali, daughter of the great Muhammad Ali. To a nearly full house at the world famous Comedy Store on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, May May Ali, along with a dozen comedians, gave us a night of laughter that delighted the audience and brought in over $4000 for Parkinson’s Disease research. We are grateful to Mitzi Shore, owner of the Comedy Store, for allowing us to stage this benefit, to the comedians for donating their considerable talent, to all the volunteers who helped that evening and especially to May May Ali for pulling it all together in honor of her father and in her capacity as Honorary Captain of Team Parkinson.
